After a pleasant ride thru the Wisconsin Dells (is this the opposite
of a delta?) we followed the Mississippi into Chicago.
We have a one day layover here to catch our Texas Eagle homeward.

We were thrilled to meet Rev. Jesse Jackson in the train station.
We need more giants like him.

We walked passed the famed Sears Tower to our Travelodge Hotel on the
south side of the Loop.
We discovered that the celebration *Taste of Chicago* was going on
only a few blocks from our hotel.

This last was taken from our hotel window. We are already a million
miles from Alaska.
But its hard to believe that we will be home in just two more days...
