June 19th The Carribou Prospector RR - A dying British Columbian treasure.

After Lucy laughed, and taught us how to make lemonade out of lemons, we finally, really started our vacation today.

We boarded the BC Rail Carribou Prospector passenger train at 7:00am

It was a wonderful trip.  All the rivers were at near flood stage.   We got into Prince George at 10:00pm after experiencing some of the most scenic country in the world.  Sadly, this passenger train is scheduled to be discontinued October 31st of this year, due to economic considerations.  I feel priveledged to have riden this train.  It is sad that future generations will not get to see these beautiful sights.
